Sharing power adapters and connectors between MacBook Pro and MacBook Air

I would like to know if I can use power adapter and connector between MacBook Pro 2015 and 2022 MacBook Air?

Any Apple USB power adaptor can safely power any Apple USB powered device.


Depending on sizing (wattage) it may - or may not - charge as quickly …


… and perhaps it might not even “charge” when you’re actively computing; and only be able to “slow the rate of discharge” …


…but if you’re happy with it’s performance, it’s certainly safe to use.
