Authenticating before Accessing items

I have set up a new MacBook Pro by mirroring and everything is set up including my iCloud and Apple ID but every time I try to open a Microsoft Word Document in iCloud I get the following, The document could not be opened. You need to authenticate before accessing this item. I have tried everything, assistance is greatly appreciated.
