I received this message yesterday and when I clicked on the email it was sent from, it took me to my mailbox. Have I really been hacked??

I recieved this today and check email address, cause they told me, we have your iCloud and we sent it from my iCloud email. But check it again, it's not your email address, it's look like this but it's from different email. Dont pay nothing. Have a good day for all.

Nothing will happen, absolutely nothing, UNLESS you respond to such bogus, scam messages. The message is, and always will be a scam. As with all such messages, delete the email, do not interact with the message or the sender.

Maybe it was the very recent Ticketmaster breach of 560 million customer accounts, or the AT&T of 73 million, or any of the other hundreds of breaches reported→https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_data_breaches

But you are luckier than most; just check where you used that specific email address, and that will tell you what site or business was hacked.

Don't answer or respond to it!! Or send anything-AT ALL. It is bait only to scam you-and con you out of money and possibly get more information to use against you a well. Do NOT RESPOND or even click the link or message call contact in any way. They know nothing and if they did sending money wouldn't help anyways. I have been scammed several times so I know about this .
