I am unable to update apps on my iPhone. It says there's a billing issue?

My phone is not allowing me to update my apps. It is saying there’s a previous billing issue but I have put money in my account and it still isn’t working

If there's an issue with a credit or debit card on your Apple ID, you will need to resolve that before you can use the App store services including updating free apps. If you have balance on your account, make sure its enough to cover whatever pending purchase is there plus any applicable taxes.
