airdrop not working as expected

I have 2 macbook pro's (2010 & 2011) running macOS High Sierra airdropping PERFECTLY with each other.

However they will not "airdrop" with new or old iphones. Nor will they "airdrop" with my other macbook pro which is running macOS Monterey... TODAY Apple tech suggested that I should consult with Best Buy tech's

If you can not get AirDrop to work, try these:

I noticed POOR reviews and its not available for my MacBooks in the App Store…disappointing
