Problem with second system audio sync, Need HELP

I am working on syncing second system audio with the picture. I set the in points on both the audio and video clips then merge them, but when I drag them into the timeline, the audio clip is cut short. This has been happening on all of the clips and the audio is definitely longer than the video. I don't know what is going on or how to proceed from here. Does anyone have a solution? What's going on here?
