I'm thinking about buying a MagSafe

MagSafe is particularly useful for your everyday recharge as it doesn’t constantly get lint or other junk in your iPhone’s charging port. The downside of MagSafe is that will not allow data or media transfer to your vehicle unless you are connected via Bluetooth. Same situation if you are connected to your computer (no sync or data/media/photo transfer).

If your iPhone needs a case, ensure that it’s “MagSafe compatible.”

I “passed” on MagSafe as a “ruggedized” case was the more pressing requirement in my application.
