Print from Macosx to cups server and IPP driverless queue

Dear friends,

I'm finding more information about printer setup from Macbook with Monterey.

The goal is add printer share from cups server 2.3.3 running in a linux box.

Linux server have got some queues share with IPP "Driverless" mode.

All of my HP Printer have got IPP feature.

Add a new print is usually quite easy, "System Preferences" -> "Printer and Scanner"

and so on , but on my macbook with Monterey, and on others computers with latest

macosx, I can't make this operation.

Please look this screenshot:

The problem seems the IPP and Driverless mode, because my macbook show me

only "generic postscript drvier".

Any ideas or suggestion ?

Best Regards

Willy

I'm using this command:

$ lpadmin -p local_queue_name -E -v ipp://cups-server.local/printers/queue_name -m everywhere

It's work.

Bye

Willy
