Message icon disappeared

Hi, I recently updated my phone to IOS 17.4.1 and yesterday evening my messages app is gone from my phone. I can only access it through the App Store.

I checked my home screens and folders, it’s not there. I have read prior replies to this question and none of the guidance has worked. Any help welcomed to get this app back.
