why are my airpod 2nd gen too loud on se 3rd gen

Check the volume level on your iPhone, make sure the AirPods are properly seated in your ears and forming a good seal, and clean the AirPods. If the problem persists, reset your AirPods by placing them in the charging case, closing the lid, waiting 30 seconds, then opening the lid and pressing and holding the setup button on the back of the case for 15 seconds. If you have tried all of the above and the AirPods are still too loud, contact Apple Support for further assistance.
