How can I tell if a battery on an iPhone has been replaced?
Is it possible to find an iphone 12 pro with 98% capacity? Is that battery replaced?

It does show if the battery has been replaced even if it was an Apple part replaced by Apple. I had the battery in my previous iPhone replaced at my local Apple Store and that information was in the service history.

Thanks. I've actually never owned an iPhone long enough to need to have the battery replaced. This is good to know.
Your question isn't entirely clear. Are you saying that you are considering buying a used phone and it's showing 98% battery health? If the phone has been actively used since it was purchased, yes, I'd guess the battery has been replaced.
