How do you make an animation in keynote repeat?

My keynote presentation needs an animation to repeat and there’s no way I could find out to do that? Is there a way to? That’s preferably not complicated?

How do I set a second "build in" animation in Keynote? For example, fade in a movie and also start playing it. Searches tell me to add another animation, using a "plus" button in the "build in" tab but I see no "plus" button nor anything in the menus that looks related. What am I missing? Keynote on mac, keynote-14.3, macosx-15.3.1.

There is no way directly to get an animation to reverse and loop. However, you can take the slide with the animation you have in Keynote, export it as a QuickTime movie, and then re-import that into Keynote. In the Keynote Inspector, you can then set up the movie to loop back and forth.
