My hotspot is being is in use despite it being off
I thought that symbol was hotspot, but everything I have on my phone for hotspot seems to be off. Could there be a hidden hotspot or is my phone being hacked?

What does that mean?
Your phone is connected to another device's Hotspot.
Settings > Wi-Fi
The blue check mark tells you the name of the Hotspot that your phone is connected to.
