Photo organizational app with similar features to Aperture?

I have asked a similar Q here before but after trying LRC & other alternatives and used Photos mainly to convert older Aplibraries I. think I have figured out my main hangup = I have less need of editting software but more of organizational software = and particularly with features Photo doesn't have == for instance, what I really loved about Aperture was the ability to display in list view and the granularity of filtering == I could apply the ## 1-9 to pics, 5 different colors, unlimited keywords == Photos has keywords but I need to see the ## or the color applied to the pic, not just keywords. Which of the various apps comes closest to Aperture in terms of applying ##, colors, keywords or other such plus the ability to show all in list view???

Might be worth checking out NeoFinder

https://cdfinder.de/

which began life as an app to catalog CDs but has grown to a very powerful media cataloging app. It is very strong on metadata and includes an XMP editor. If image editing is not a requirement then it might well be an answer (if not the absolutely perfect one) to your query.

Another worth checking out is PhotoSupreme,

again the emphasis is on organisation more than processing.

I have not yet found a photo manager, that is I really like as a substitute for Aperture. But to be able to browse my photos with keywords below the thumbnails or in a list view with the metadata arranged in columns, I am using PowerPhotos. With PowerPhotos as a companion to Photos I can have more than one window open and compare libraries, while viewing the photos as a table or in a grid view with titles or keywords below the thumbnails (but no colours).

We can also view the photos in a list view in Houdah Geo. I am using Houdah Geo to tag the photos with metadata before I import them to Photos.

I do have NeoFinder and have used it for many years [since it was CDFinder] but not for this =- thanks for the reminder == PhotoSupreme also looks good...I'll check them out.

Just went to the PhotoSupreme site - the Single user version has a 14 day money back option but there's also a limited Lite version that is free and might be a good first test. == again, thanks for the idea.
