I have a 2019 MacBook Pro, this morning I updated to OS Sonoma 14.4.1, and ever since I did, the desktop Safari app has been closing without warning. I tried resetting the PRAM, and that did not work. Not sure if anyone else has this issue or what else can be done for it. I managed to copy an error log in case that helps.

I was having the exact same issue. Following the instructions here solved the problem for me. It works even if you don't have any printers installed.
So another update, it seems to be a general issue with doing print commands twice. I did the same thing opening 'Print" in Notes, cancelling it, then doing File>Print again. It automatically crashes.
Additional info, I noticed that it seems to happen more often when using the Print or Command+P buttons, after doing so a second time after doing successfully once before after reopening.
