Finder slow to show newly created files

So, I've searched these pages for a solution to my issue. Firstly, please don't laugh. I am still in Catalina. You laughed, didn't you? Anyway, my issue is this: when creating audio files with Logic Pro (or other applications on my Mac), I try to find the file I just created/exported from Logic, and it is untraceable for 30 to 50 seconds after creation. I can't remember this always being like this. I've been a mac user for 25+ years and never noticed this issue before. what happened?
