find my showing up in system services

i've never not used find my on any device i've owned . How is it system services constantly has it using data? i'll reset it just to see it's back again.

'Find my' locations delayed (Feb/Mar 2023) Anyone else notice that Find My - on some/most devices - is very delayed? Example - from my Mac, half of my devices show last seen between 5 minutes ago and hours ago, even though they're online, right next to me. This is worrisome, and is now impacting "people" (originally This has been occurring for at least the past month. I have removed devices (i.e. AirPods Pro) and re-added them, but that has no impact on Find My. Delay continues. No rhyme or reason. Checked Apple Status as well. Issue with *my* devices, *family* devices note - to admins/community folks - I don't need an FAQ on how to set up Find My; I've been using it since it came out.

Find My uses Location Services of People, Devices, and Items.
