iCloud is not set up for this apple ID account error on my apple TV

Trying to login to a LG TV with apple TV app. The apple TV recognises me but photos says I iCloud not setup when it is

If you just created this Apple ID account, then it may not be complete yet. Or may need activation for Apple TV app use.

If you already use this Apple ID account on e.g. iPhone, then it should be ready for any Apple services.


Your Apple ID account needs complete information as asked, including name, DoB, country, (state,) a confirmed email address (respond to test message), and a valid payment method for any future transactions.

If you need to edit your Apple ID account, without having an Apple device to do this on, then please make your edits as needed on the web: Manage your Apple ID - Apple.


If signing in for the first time to the Apple TV app on a third party device (like a smart TV), then you may be asked to visit activate.apple.com on a computer or mobile. (TV browsers may not be suitable for this.)
