Left side Powerbeats Pro not working now

Loved these for almost 4 months now! Worked perfectly until today- I’ve charged the case with both beats in overnight. They pair and show “100%” for all three items (case/right beat/left beat) - it when I remove left side to place in ear the “100%” indicator goes blank and it does not produce any sound.

have connected/disconnected, unpaired/paired and same result - any ideas?
