apple music is draining my iphone storage

apple music is draining my iphone / ipad storage, I'm no using off line download.

apple support could not.

iphone has an overhead use on the documents storage by 6GB while I use downloaded music at 42Gb - total consumption 48Gb stoarge.

ipad. no offline / downloaded content. total used storage on my ipad 4 GB and 3.99GB of docu,emts and data.

optimise storage is set to 1GB.

something is just not matching and this seems to be a long threaded and noticed issue. im missing apples explanation / clarification or even a solution.

Can somebody help me please?
