upgrading tidal subscription from individual to family in app store

Hi,

could someone please explain how to upgrade my tidal subscription in the App Store from "individual" to "family".

I can see my Tidal subscription under my apple Id on my phone, so all good, but the only option offered there is to "cancel subscription".


I guess I could cancel my individual subscription and take out a family subscription, but I am worried this might not work and/or we might loose our playlists.

It appears the upgrade to the Family subscription must be done on the Tidal website through your Tidal account.

See the FAQ section here: https://tidal.com/plans/family

As the primary account holder, go to the TIDAL Family section on account.tidal.com and select Upgrade to Family Plan.

In that case, they may not support the Family subscription when subscribed through Apple.


The other option I did see, is to go through the Tidal App on your device.

  1. Open the Tidal app and click My collection. Click the gear icon on the screen at the top-right corner.
  2. Step 2:Go to Edit profile >> Manage subscription >> Tidal Family >> Upgrade to Family plan.


Not sure if this is possible on the iOS app though.
