Couple of iCal glitches in Month view

Hi all,

I have a few behaviours that keep happening in iCal on desktop, but only in Month view. It's fine in Week or Day view.

iOS 14.4.1 (23E224)

iCal version 14.0 (2964.4.2)

1. Double clicking on an existing event in one calendar (I have a few) opens a new one in the default calendar. I quit and reopen then it's fine.
2. I create a new event (it's not all-day) then select "all day" and it switches to a 2-day event.
3. I would prefer to select the relevant calendar when adding a new event rather than the default one then having to switch.

Hope someone can help or maybe address it in a future update. TIA.
