Why does my HomePod only flash + and - and fail to connect with iPhone?
After plugging in it only flashes + and - and will not communicate with iPhone.

There’s no known fix for flashing volume lights. If it’s an OG HomePod, it’s dead. If later models you can see if Apple has a replacement option. The OG was discontinued and is long out of warranty.
