GPS does not work

I have an iPhone 13, it works fine except for one thing: the GPS was very bad. It falters and therefore I can hardly use navigation apps such as maps. google maps and waze. The location falters very badly and because of this the location is not accurate at all. I have tried all of the suggestions and nothing has worked. Looks like people have even tried purchasing a new phone and it still happens. What do I do ? It is really frustrating... I have tried a few different maps with the same results.

Where do you (typically) use this when it happens? In a car, on foot/bike, in open field, or in between high-rise buildings, or indoors?

I have a mounting system on the dashboard of my car, so the transparency of the windshield helps in the driving direction. Reception might be worse in the back, but I rarely test satnav as a passenger.

What kind of accuracy were you expecting? In open field (all the sky visible), the GPS on a smartphone would have enough data to be accurate to about 5m (16ft) radius (so 10m/32ft diameter). It should get signals from at least 4 satellites.

Mapping apps may cling to a road, diverting from the real coordinates. Close parallel roads may be confusing as well.
