Unable to add my bank card to Apple Wallet

Capital One has been having issues lately. Several community members have posted that C1 no longer supports Apple Pay for their debit cards. I understand that are coming out with a Wallet of their own called Paze. Not sure if your issue is related to the new wallet or not.

Have you talked to C1 support? If so, what did they say? Have you tried using the C1 app to add the card to Apple wallet?

Can you tell us which bank and which country you are in, and if that country is also what is set as the region for your Apple ID?

Then we can double-check the list of banks by country in Apple Pay participating banks in Canada, Latin America, and the United States - or the alternative lists linked on that page for other parts of the world.

I have a CapitalOne Quicksilver Mastercard. I’m traveling in Guatemala. I have been unable to add my card to my Apple Pay and it shows the below error every time I try:

”We cannot activate your card at this time”. The card is activated and I am currently using it, but unable to activate on Apple Pay.

I’ve tried every debit or credit card. Banks allowed. Available in my county

i’ve checked if latest update ios

turned off phone

reset appleid password

still same message

Mine is USA

my bank is listed as well

so not sure

tried multiple things given

Card not added contact bank. And I’ve contacted bank and they say there’s no reason it shouldn’t work
