Iphone 15 holds Charging after 80% even when Optimised battery charging is Switched off

Hello Community

After the update of 17.4.1 my iPhone 15 holds charging after it reaches 80% Even the optimised battery charging is switched off. The mobile starts holding the the charging after it reaches 80 percentage and beyond 80 percentage for every 15 minute the iPhone gets one percentage of battery increase, And the mobile does not gives any temperature warning also. Sometimes the battery percentage increases beyond 80 percentage and at this moment while charging if I remove the charger and restart the mobile after restarting the battery percentage increases like 7 to 8 percentage higher than then before restart.

Apple technical support team says that the environmental temperature can affect the charging temperature and that might be a problem but the mobile is being used in the air-conditioned room so there is no hot weather circumstance for the mobile while it is in charge.

Two times restore has been done, visited Service Center for the restore, still the problem exists the same

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
