Used AppleID for X Twitter account creation but it has no password

The previous answer to “I created a twitter account using Apple ID and I don’t know the account’s password” suggested a Twitter link about forgot password. Problem is, that page asks if you created with account with email address or phone number, but no mention of creating it with AppleID (which did not require either email or phone). I’m stuck in a loop and getting very frustrated. Any help enormously appreciated.
