Never happened before = I have a pdf download which opened in Preview but although I select a page or two in the item [side thumbnail] it won't delete =-= going under Edit or using the delete key.

Is this every PDF or isolated to this one particular PDF...?
maybe it is locked somehow and you do not have permission to tamper with it(?)
