Now when I type a sentence, and want to change one word, my phone highlights the entire sentence and wants to change it. It won't let me get past the highlighting unless I go totally out and sneak back in by sliding the cursor over there. How do I fix this, very annoying

Instead of tapping the word, try dragging the cursor to where you want to do the edit.
