NVIDIA and Tonex Profiler

I'm getting ready to use a new IK Multimedia TONEX Multi-Effects Pedal to capture some of my guitar amps. I have an iMac (27-inch, Late 2013) with a 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1 GB graphics card, running Catalina, 10.15.7. I read the following comment to a Youtube demo of the pedal. I'm wondering if what I have will work?

Comment from "OK, WE NEED TO TALK... about IK MULTIMEDIA TONE X!" by Pete Thorn on Youtube: "Just a public service announcement for anyone who will do a lot of their own captures and want to SPEED up the advanced captures: TONEX will utilize the CUDA cores on an NVidia graphics card/GPU (no AMD, no stock graphics). I can do an Advanced capture in <20 minutes. It used to take like 8 hours. Huge difference. Any Nvidia graphics card with CUDA cores will dramatically improve capture time. You don't need to buy the latest and greatest."

Thanks

I would look at the Youtube video to see if the author can be contacted. You might be able to comment on it and give your contact. Be mindful use of the @ symbol on public forums is generally an invitation for spam.

If their recommendation includes taking apart of the Mac, bring specific written instruction to an authorized service provider. Internal component access is generally not a good idea unless you are certified to do the work.
