Apple Car Play has disappeared from my phone

Hi. I usually can just start my car, plug in my phone, and apple car play comes up. Now, I plug in my phone, it starts charging, but apple car play does not show as an option. In fact, I can no longer find it on my phone or in the app store. What happened? How do I get it back?

Car Play won’t work since IOS upgrade to 18.6.2 Ever since I upgraded to IOS 18.6.2, my Apple Car Play will not work on my car. I’ve tried all suggested fixes to no avail. i had this happen two upgrades ago as well. will there be a new release to fix this bug or should I downgrade?

Car Play connects by iPhone screen doesn't pop up. Sound only BMW 430i, 2022. My Apple car play will suddenly not show up on the cars screen. I can still hear directions (Google Maps, Spotify, etc) but it is still the BMW iDrive showing on the screen. The Apple 'start button' doesnt do anything. Very frustrating! I have an iPhone 13 Pro I've disconnected, removed from settings, car play etc, still nothing. Any help will be appreciated. thanks
