Does Mac provide a way to find and organize duplicate files?

Hi! I've read a bunch of responses about how to organize duplicate files. It seems 3rd party software is a big no-no.

They are mostly work files for my design business (Office/Adobe Suites/pictures) but there are different versions from different external hard drives that need to be sorted.

Does Mac provide a way to find and organize duplicate files?

THANKS :)

If the files have the same basic file name you might be able to use the shareware app Find Any File. It can search multiple drives and list the results in a couple of ways, hierarchy and list, with the following file attributes:

Hierarchy view:

and List View:

FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.

As it's shareware you can try it for free and purchase it if it works for you.
