• Make sure your sound card is recognized by your computer at all.

Utilities > Audio-Midi-Setup > Audio Devices

• select your audio device in Logic

Logic pro > Settings (or Preferences on older versions) > Audio > Devices > Input and Output Devices

and press Apply

• Now you can create a audio channel strip in Logic and select an appropriate input
