Apple ID and Wallet on iPhone

will signing out of my Apple ID actually delete the contents of the Wallet on iPhone iOS 17 as the alert message seems to say?

Clicking Apple ID, sign out, produces an alert box that warns "all items will be removed from Wallet".

Why do I have 2 wallet apps on my iPhone can I delete one? I seem to have two identical wallets on my iPhone 11. The second appeared recently. Is there a way to get rid of one? The only way I can see is to remove cards from both and reload which is a big pain. Any advice please? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

IDK but I found out this morning that removing an old iPhone from our device list did cause Apple Pay with the one card that was in the wallet to be removed from the new iPhone.
