Open the desktop WhatsApp and follow the instructions to connect it to your iPhone; sometimes WhatsApp mysteriously forgets the computer app. The iPhone app is always the master WhatsApp; the computer app is a “slave” to the mobile version, so if they aren’t synced you must re-sync them.
