Friend bought something on my phone, receipt won’t send to me

Hello, a while back my friend bought a subscription for their account on an app, but they used my actual phone. I forgot about this and recently saw it in my purchase history but when I try to send the receipt it does not go to my email, all my other receipts will come through except for this one, is it because they used their own card?
