Deleting steps in apple health on my iPhone

My phone added 200,000 steps to my daily step count when I had a very long flight through several time zones recently. How do I delete the steps i didn’t walk? I usually walk around 10,000 steps per day

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17

See if this guide can help:

  1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
  2. If you’re on your iPhone, tap Browse.
  3. Tap a category, such as Activity.
  4. Tap a subcategory, such as Steps.
  5. Scroll down to Options, then tap Show All Data.
  6. Tap Edit in the top right-hand corner.
  7. Tap the Delete button next to the record you want to delete.
