I am attempting to factory reset an apple MacBook Pro, and it has been loading for 5 days.

When you say it's been loading for five days what do you mean specifically? Were you able to click erase and it's been erasing for 5 days? or are you trying to reinstall macOS and it's been installing for 5 days? We'll need a little more information to better assist.
