Issue playing Apple Music on HomePod

When I ask for a song on our HomePods, I get a song (often not what I asked for, but I get a song). When my wife asks for a song, all we ever get is “ok now playing [song name]… there was a problem with Apple Music.” Every time. This has gone on for years without a solution.
