MacBook Air M2 keyboard and mouse frozen

The keyboard and mouse on my MacBook Air M2 gets frozen and needs a hard restart.

This was intermittent initially but now it's much more frequent.

Any suggestions to resolve this.

I have done a factory reset but still its happening.
