Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present does not work with Satechi M1 wireless (bluetooth) mouse.

I have MacBook Pro m3 with Sonoma OS and I connected Satechi M1 mouse via bluetooth. I have enabled setting "ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present" but the trackpad is still on when the mouse is connected.

I already contacted Satechi support and they said that this setting should work as it works on their Macs they have tested with. They recommended that I reach out to Apple support.

In addition, I read all the question posted for same issue and I know that it is recommended to toggle the setting on and off to make it work but it is not helping. In addition, it was already mentioned that we can check with Satechi on driver update, but Satechi did not mention about it at all in their support feedback. I tried all recommendations and it is not working.

Could you please help with this topic?
