iPad was stuck in a boot loop, and now won’t restore

Hi, I have an iPad 6 (2018) and this morning I came downstairs to see it stuck in a boot loop - booting up the Apple logo, turning off then doing it again. After hard resetting it a few times, I figured my only option was to put it into DFU mode and restore.

However when trying to do this, the iPad eventually went into recovery mode and iTunes gave me ‘Error 4013’. I tried in recovery mode then and kept getting different errors such as 2002, 2009. Every time I put into DFU mode though I always end up with 4013

Does it sound like a hardware issue? As it’s quite old could it be something has failed? Or are there further steps I can try?

Thanks!

iPad (6th generation)

Hello~ Your best option with that error showing is …

If you continue to see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you try to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, contact us.<<<Click here.
