How can I transfer a MIDI Apple loop from macOS to iOS garageband?

When I try to import a MIDI apple loop from my macbook to my iPhone, the loop is only recognized as an audio loop, but I would like to use the midi and instrument information from the loop in garageband on iPhone.

Is there a way of importing apple loops from the macbook as a MIDI loops on iPhone?
