I have deleted the maps app from my iPhone 14 the moment I got it and out of no where this “maps data” appeared in my storage and took up 3+ GB it has been increasing after since now it’s at 7+ GB. How do I delete this data😭 I don’t even have the app. Someone please help I already do not have enough storage and this is useless data that’s taking up so much space.
Where are you seeing maps data? If you have maps data, you have the maps app; you haven’t actually deleted it; you may have just removed it from your Home screen.. Go to Settings/General/iPhone Storage, tap on Maps and delete it.
If you have trouble deleting it and If you have Screen Time enabled, go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/iTunes & App Store Purchases and change Deleting Apps to Allow.
Then try deleting the app again.
