I like to work from home because i can share screens or extend my MacBook to my iMac - when i go to uni i only have my MacBook.
I was wondering if the mac mini a great way to bring to uni to use on the large screens to collaborate with your MacBook laptop

Why not just connect your MacBook to the larger screens at uni?
It is easier than lugging around a MacMini, keyboard, and mouse.

Correct, however I was aware that someone a while back told me that they did that - brought their Mac mini to uni and I was just curious to hear that it was done by anyone else.
Connecting the MacBook to the screens sounds way better. I just need to figure that out. 👋🏼
You need to find out the type of inputs on the screens at uni and then get the appropriate adapters.
If you can get the make and model numbers of the screens and tell us the exact model of your MacBook we could help you determine what you need.
