Podcasts mysteriously speeding up mid-show

Podcasts keep mysteriously speeding up mid-show while the iPhone is in another room. This has happened occasionally over the last few months but happened several times the other day to the point where I had to go to Spotify to listen to podcasts. :-/

I’m on the latest iOS as of today - May 2, 2024.

Start the podcasts on iPhone and listen thru several HomePod minis distributed in different rooms.
