Can a mac cinema display be used as a full functioning desktop using the internal parts from an iMac that has a broken screen?

Please don’t judge my lack of knowledge based on this question because I’ve been given mixed answers.

SoOo… Ive got a stand alone Mac Cinema Display that works like new, Ive also got an All-in-One Mac late 2009 model with a broken screen. Can the internals from the All-in-One Mac be installed into the Mac Cinema Display and function as an All-in-One desktop? Has anyone gotten curious or bored as I have and thought about converting the two to see if it’s possible? lOl If so please share your insight :)
