Missing iPhone icon in iTunes for backup on Windows

I have iPhone 12 Pro Max I have not updated the software and when I’m doing backup in my Microsoft laptop when I’m opening iTunes and signing in the iPhone icon is missing I can’t see anywhere and I can’t do the backup
