Resetting to return default preferences

I am having issues with my settings and just want to reset my iMac for the preferences- like notifications or specific settings that are changed when you first setup your preferences. is there a way to do that w/o having to erase all content?

iMac 27″, macOS 14.4

Prior to MA actually migrating it asks what you want to migrate. You need to start with a fresh system and that has been erased. If this is something you cannot do on your own you will need to take the computer to an Apple Authorized Service Provider and tell them what you want and they should have the skill set to do it for you.

Please let us know if you need help locating an Apple Authorized Service Provider in your area.
