Cannot silence a group text

I have a family group text that I have had silenced for years and suddenly it is notifying me. Hide alerts is still toggled on and the bell icon when swiping left is set to silence. It alerts me on my phone and my watch which is set to mirror my iPhone. Some of my family has android phones but this is nothing new, in fact, nothing about the group has changed since the alerts randomly started.

My ios is up to date. (17.4.1) I have an IPhone 13 Pro Max.

How do I fix this? My family talks incessantly all day and it is so distracting! Help!
